Wouldn’t you agree that the class did a fabulous job on these exercises! I love how people see colour different, and the individual stroke technique makes everyone unique.
They used two different types of paper : a sanded (pastelmat) and unsanded (mi-teintes) There were various different colours of papers used as well, which resulted in a different affect.
All of these exercises were done using the nupastels and a foam blending tool and/or finger for blending the initial sky layers. Blending tool worked best with the sanded papers. I think that a softer pastel would have worked better for the canson paper.
